MINIMISE OUR ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT

We have an ambition to provide cost-efficient, innovative measures to increase ship operational efficiency and reduce our environmental footprint, both ashore and at sea. The preservation of the natural resources is our main priority and environmental and energy considerations are included in all the activities we carry out. Limiting our harmful gas and water emissions, and reducing the waste generated by our activities, are part of our environmental stewardship strategy.

The Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA) is a pioneering and voluntary commitment of Greek seafarers and ship owners to safeguard our seas from ship-generated pollution. Its principal aim is to promote environmental consciousness, a spirit of safety, and level of quality throughout shipping.
